The admiration was mutual - the biggest football club in the world had its eyes on the young players.

Football has always been the biggest thing in David Beckham's life. He used to play for hours when he was a child. Beckham and his father would kick the ball around until it's too dark to see each other. Because he was always kicking the ball around, David Beckham never did everything well in school. Beckham failed when he was 16 and went to play football for Manchester United's Jr. team. David played his first pro game for Manchester two years later, when he was 18. By 1996, David Beckham was a regular with the team and one of the most popular players in England - by the team to help win an FA Cup and Premier Division title the same year.

Beckham scored his first international goal in the 26th June 1998, game against Colombia, although he waves in a negative way. During the football World Cup in France in 1998, Beckham joined Diego Simeone slightly on the back of the leg, in retaliation for since fouled by the player.

The tabloid press later followed Beckham from the football field and to send his wedding to Spice Girl Victoria Adams in July 1999. In March of 2000, the couple welcomed their son, Brooklyn Joseph in the world. Beckham's private life has overshadowed because of the negative media stories to his bad mood, shift to stories on his wife, is also a tabloid favorite.

In 2002, David Beckham helped England in the final quarter finals of the World Cup of soccer in Korea and Japan, where England lost to eventual world champion from Brazil. In 2003, David Beckham was at Real Madrid for a mind-boggling $ 40 million. After a disappointing season with Real Madrid, David Beckham hopes he can lead England to victory in Euro 2004.

David Beckham's success in football means that he has a ton of cash. David Beckham makes more than $ 15 million U.S. dollars per year to play for Real Madrid and several thousand more from advertising to settle. That is allowed him to get some nice toys as well. Beckham has seven cars, including a custom built Ferrari, a Porshe 911, Range Rover and Jaguar.

If David Beckham's not scoring goals for his team, he hangs with his wife Victoria Adams (Posh Spice of the Spice Girls) and their sons Brooklyn (born in March 1999) and Romeo (born in September 2002. You also have two dogs named Snoop and Puffy (after Beckham's favorite rapper, Puff Daddy and Snoop Dog). So between scoring goals, making music and cleaning up after her son and dogs, keeps this family very busy.
